I'm aware that the system is flawed.  Don't forget, i'm fighting that shit for you! So are we on the same team? Your criminal record does NOT define you. You know this system wasn't created for you and me? It wasn't built for you to survive, it's literally MODERN DAY SLAVERY. I'm not exaggerating love, the 13th amendment allows slavery in prison. What you thought they were just gonna break every chain? It's meant to keep you shackled, but are you going to allow it? The point of the system is to keep you stigmatized and branded with a label so that you'll always feel inferior. Feeling inferior is going to make you want to prove that you're the complete opposite. So although you can't compete on the "mans" level because being labeled a felon does not always grant you those job opportunities, you do what you feel you have to do to not look like what they perceive you as. It's a cycle to keep you mentally in bondage but you ain't got nothing to prove to nobody..but yourself. You you think  splurging on me is gonna make me forget the fact that that's drug money? Because, baby I'm trying to have some kids one day. Don't you know that could be our kid out there somebody supplying? You think buying me the finer things is going to make me forget that every day you risking your life to put these clothes on my back. You don't think I want you here when my clothes are off? I need you to make it home tonight. I need you to be here for dinner with your family BC the cops out patrollin'. Niggas that you think really down for you out plotting and trollin'. Females scheming and playing on your weakness...
