Put some RESPECT on her name

U.N.I.T.Y. U.N.I.T.Y. that's a unity
U.N.I.T.Y, love a black man from infinity to infinity.

It's been a minute right, I know. I miss y'all SO much and hope you're holding up in this weather family.
Before I begin
Rather before I dive in
I kinda wanna touch on this life of sin....and all of it's ways.
See for days, I've been contemplating
& to be real, it's kind of nerve breaking
It's a long story, but you know imma elaborate.
So family, how we always begin
You know what you gotta do on your end
At this point me and you are friends..so hold your side of the bargain.
RELAX, and take your mind off of this storm, I know the thought of the suspected consequences is causing you hell
Well let me detain your mind, let's just act like you're in jail
My jail that is, LOL
Just vibe with me, you're now apart of mochas web....

I hope before you begin reading this, you've taken the time to unwind.. tonight I'm feeling like genuwine  and I'm sooooooooo anxious. Remember earlier I said I've been contemplating for a few days? Yea? Well these thoughts just won't go away. Anxiety got my thoughts on 100, it's like they in a race....
But tonight one surfaced and made it to the finish line. & I got my wine, so you know I'm feeling fine. We on a Category 3 warning so you know I got the time.. I'm feeling like Tank on when we..so brace yourself because this shit is getting deep deep. & I know lately I 've been focusing on the ladies but men I told you I was coming your way.. so clear your schedule and add Mocha Web to your calendar, tonight is your date...

If I ruled the world, I'd free all my sons. I would hold all of their guns and wipe their criminal records away. I would rebirth them so they wouldn't have to be slaves...to this crooked system of oppression. I would address all their problems and the things they stressing. I would restore the meaning of unity and family so they would understand the meaning of counting their blessings. If I ruled the world, I'd free all my sons and reiterate the meaning of discipline and strength. I would lather them in real love so the desire for materialism would only be a myth. I would ask them how's their day and what's on their mind. I would take my time.. unraveling the struggle underneath. I would listen to their truth. I would erase their fear of blue. I would change their whole concept of grinding only for the loop. If I ruled the world, I'd free all my sons. I'd break every chain, they would all be on the run. Running from mental anguish and supremacist views, running from the pressure of ending up on the 6'oclock news, running from the teacher who said they wouldn't  amount to shit, running from the connect tryna put him on with the bricks, running from the short skirts with thoughtless minds, running from disloyalty, savages and slimes, running from the jail and prison cells, running from the gang who claim they love them and make their lives hell. If I ruled the world, I'd free all my sons. I would welcome them with open arms.. and be all they need. I'd teach them to never abandon their seed. I would go back down in history & teach them that they all are kings. I would show them how to act accordingly and as their queens I would submit to them gracefully. I would teach them that their place of origin is inside a woman's womb & that's never to be disrespected. I would make them understand that the value of a woman goes further than her ability to give them an erection. I ain't flexing. A woman is a man's blessing, and her loyalty is not to be abused or misused. Son don't get things misconstrued. I'd free you on any given day, but if & only if you promise to put respect on a woman's name.

We could talk for hours about this generational curse..& how it increases our thirst but barely quenches it. What I am about to touch on can be compared to soda and water's difference. Soda appeals to the eyes and don't forget you love the burn of it going down your throat. You don't always have to get the name brand, the inexpensive kind be banging too, that's that slippery slope. After you down one, you good to go.. well at least for a couple of hours. & then you gotta find another one to devour. That soda be so good man you gotta keep going back to get another fix but for some reason it's never fulfilling. It's never enough, yea it gives you that rush but something is missing. That something you are not quite sure of what it is.. so you go & cop another one thinking it's going to give you that bit.. that bit that's going to satisfy your thirst. But what you don't realize is that you just got caught up in that generational curse..

That generational curse of chasing skirts without substance. That curse of being cool with the boyfriend title but scared of being husbands. That curse that rises right above the knee and perfectly hugs the thighs, yea I see your wandering eyes and I recognize your disguise. The disguise of deceit, you say you want her but do you want her mentally? Or is it just a physical attraction. You say you not sure, is it her dress that's a distraction? You thinking she about to be your next soda right? You not sure if it will fulfill you but at least she'll get you through the night. & then tomorrow you'll deal with the consequences of your manly flesh. You can't remember shorty name so now she becomes shorty with the dress. & damn you could barely open your eyes before you woke up to all of these text. & shorty amazed & can't believe how well y 'all connect.. you tell your homie she tripping' but bruh last night was LIT so what's next. You getting prepped and ready to hit the streets.. facetime calls and text coming in so you tell shorty you about to hit the sheets. You been texting her all day although you don't even know her name.. but them cheeks was like your favorite soda so you decide you'll continue to entertain.. you'll keep feeding her what she wanna hear, not caring that it's messing with her brain.. as long as it's available for you when you tryna tame. The cycle of that generational curse will have you forgetting your mama's hurt and pain. The countless nights without electricity, seeming like her prayers were in vain. The absence of your father, all you knew was his name. You forgot your mama was just like shorty in the dress. You forgot the pain of growing up not knowing what meal was coming next. You do remember the empty stomach and her small work checks. You remember mama doing whatever she had to do to make ends meet. You remember the strange faces and the extra lunch money.. & you don't necessarily talk about the effect it had on you but we can all see.. you move through these streets like Tupac on all eyes on me. Feeling like you're a target on everybody's radar.. feeling like you don't care if you here tomorrow but you happy that you made it this far. Listen...

If I ruled the world, I'd free all my sons but it don't necessarily work like that. & this right here ain't no sneak attack.. I'm forever on your side King but that don't mean I'll settle for being a soda on your team. Come with real intentions when you approach a queen.. or don't come at all. Because you may run into a brick wall. You may be just tryna quench your thirst but end up getting your feelings hurt. You may run into a woman similar to your mama, minus the hurt and pain. You may run into a woman that don't play those games. You may run into a woman that's willing to build with you, you may run into a woman you can honestly trust. You may encounter feelings stronger than lust. Caution be advised, it may NOT be that sugary stuff. She may be one of the few waters left on the shelf. & the men may be like your people during this Hurricane, tryna grab that one bottle that's left. You may be tryna move faster than a nigga getting chased by the police on grand theft...& your intentions may be pure but your mind still aint right. But you don't really care because where you from you don't mind a fight. You know that water is everything you been needing but nothing you been focused on.. now you tired of that soda, but most of the water is gone. & it's still a little water left so now you blowing up her line but she ain't bout to let you waste her time. She's on her grind and nearing twenty-fine. She's coming into her prime & she's not letting a soul steal her shine. Remember earlier I said I've been contemplating.. well I've been going back and forth with this thing called dating..& I hope by now you get my drift.. so don't hop in this car tryna drive automatic cause baby this is a stick shift. Therefore, this ride aint nothing necessarily smooth, it'll take off on your ass if your mind ain't in the loop. To avoid being a crash dummy lets get some things straight, off gate,  number one don't come with the games. & number two no matter what you do put some respect on a woman's name..

Men I know ain't nothing easy about living in this world today. I've never took a walk in your shoes and never will I try. I do know one thing though, a woman is a man's weakness. You may not realize it but everything you do in life is for a woman. You buy nice clothes to impress who? You post pictures on social media for who to see? You have/want money for what reasons? When you buy your first whip, who do you have in mind? When you buy your first crib?? When you level up? Regardless of whatever the situation may be, respect women by telling them straight up, wussup. Don't leave them wondering. Don't take advantage of a woman because you know she's weak for you. Ain't nothing like a woman's loyalty. Let's unify. None of us are savages no matter how hard we try. & I don't care how much you try to act like you don't have feelings, you do. Let's just keep it real with each other. Disrespecting a woman is being okay with your mother, grandmother, aunties, nieces, and daughters being disrespected. Break the cycle & put respect on a woman's name period!.

I love you, until next time.
